President and Owner of SAVA Insurance Group
Donna is a true insurance industry success story: she began her career as a receptionist in 1985, and loved the insurance business right from the beginning. Her passion made her eager to learn everything she could about the insurance industry. Today, she is the proud owner and President of SAVA Insurance Group. Her favorite part of her job is connecting with clients, learning about their families, and figuring out ways to help them directly or partner with them in the community.

Donna was born and raised in Meriden, Connecticut and currently lives in Niantic with her husband, Dave. She has three kids — Diana, Debbie, and D.J. — and seven beautiful grandchildren. In her free time, she loves yoga, boating, golfing, volunteering in the community, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Diana Buscetto
Vice President/Commercial Lines Business Development Manager
Diana is an invaluable member of the SAVA Insurance Group team because she’s done it all in the insurance industry (it’s in her blood, after all). 18 years ago, she began working for her mother, Donna, as a receptionist at SAVA and continued to work her way up as a processor, personal lines account manager, commercial lines account manager, new business development manager, and eventually, Vice President. Her favorite thing about being SAVA’s Vice President is helping current clients solve problems, and building new relationships with prospective clients and in our community.
Working at SAVA since the very beginning, Diana has a true understanding of what it means for our agency to be “Guided by Heart”:

Diana grew up in Montville, Connecticut and currently lives in Old Lyme with her husband Bill. She has a daughter, Jordan, and a son, Billy, along with their pug dog named Mickey (her third child, especially now that her kids are out of the house). She enjoys attending her children’s athletic events, spending time with her dog, and reading. She’s also just starting to taking up golf, so let her know if you have any tips for a beginner!
Debbie Yother
Vice President/Personal Lines Business Development Manager
Debbie has been with SAVA Insurance Group since we first opened our doors in 1998 and has worked alongside her mother, Donna, and sister, Diana, to grow the agency. Her first job at SAVA was processing paperwork, and she quickly rose to receptionist, customer service agent, and producer. Today, she is Vice President of SAVA Insurance Group and manages the business development end of our personal lines. Her favorite part of her job is the opportunity to meet new people, review their policies, and make sure they are properly covered. She loves when she’s able to offer better coverage and offer a lower premium at the same time.
Debbie has been practicing the idea of being “Guided by Heart” since day one at SAVA:
“I love getting involved in the community and helping local organizations. Giving back is something my family and I are passionate about and I’m truly grateful to our clients for helping our business grow and be in a position contribute to our local community.”
Debbie grew up in Montville, Connecticut, but has resided in East Lyme for the past 20 years with her four children — Zack, Ashley, Will, and David. In her free time, Debbie is committed to volunteering and fundraising for several charities; she loves cheering her kids on at their sporting events, is learning to play golf, and enjoys boating.
